I like the creativity and see where you're going, just not sure these moves really would have any significant impact on making the team better. Ritchie is a downgrade from Kap. Dickinson is better than Carter, but now you have Carter on the 4th line which is a downgrade from Blueger. Seems like a wash at best imo

It is - my hope would actually be that Poehling plays 4c over Carter, who would shift to wing/face off duty.

I guess the making the team better is a best guess - if Ritchie can hang on the 2nd line, perhaps Rust can shift to 3RW, which would be significant. But a lot of hope. Also, if you have a bruiser with Malkin he can stay out of the muck.

I agree - Poehling would be nice and probably better there. Only issue is I think Archibald has been fantastic on that 4th line so Carter would then be playing over him. Basically I just think Carter needs to be benched haha

Yeah its tough - there aren't a lot of easy options for improvement. Honestly if we're moving Rust down - I might rather just give Kap another shot with Malkin. You would hope lol - but I think Malkin loves the muck. He's playing with a couple guys now who aren't afraid to muck it up and Geno still gets involved haha
