That's a little rich for Toews for the Oilers... It's been reported the Oilers have an offer in the can to Chicago that includes Puljujarvi, Foegele, a 1st round pick and a prospect not named Broberg or Holloway for Patrick Kane.

For Toews I think you'd have to replace the 1st with a 4th or 5th, or a prospect. The Oilers would still have to have a 3rd team pickup half the $5.25M to make the money work.

First, i wouldn’t do the Philly 2nd
I’d do either the Sabres 2nd or the VGK 2nd

Second, i wouldn’t include Bloom with a 2nd
If u want Bloom, it would have to be a later pick (3rd or 4th)

Than someone else can overpay for him

Yeah I don’t really think McCabe goes back to Buffalo, they might even be on his no trade list if he didn’t want to go back. I think a guy like Murphy would probably be a better fit for the sabres, similar player and would probably be cheaper to trade for

And Holland has never paid a 1st for a pending UFA, it's not his MO.
