Not sure the need For Megna? you guys are kind of stacked on D. i figured the Reimer and Meier deal would be more appealing.

You think Nemec instead? I think the Holtz offer should be pretty competitive, but someone might outbid you

Doubt Devils do Nemec. If Nemec were to be included, it’d most likely be Nemec + 3rd. Team really doesn’t wanna move him

I don't think CHI retains and takes back a cap dump for that offer. Make it NJ's 2023 2nd and it's probably closer, but even then I don't think it's enough.

I don't have the Hawks retaining here. I just have them taking back Johnsson with a 2nd round pick

L Hughes, Nemec, Holtz off limits. I’ll give 1st/Shara/Casey/Gritsyuk to get it done. If I get outbid with that, I’m good with no deal.

you’re prepared to give up somebody that’s already a top six forward, an absolute stud A prospect, and a first. Thankfully you’re not making the trades here

Sharangovich is a middle six forward, Holtz is a good prospect but has struggled in the NHL, and the 1st is late. Holtz is more so a B+ prospect at this point. Luke and Nemec are A prospects

You have a warped mindset here. Have you looked at Timo's stats, advanced stats etc? He is an elite power forward in his prime. With a guy like Hughes he can easily score 40 for the next 4-5 years. Timo leads the league in scoring chances, is 3rd in high danger chances, leads the league in shots, is on pace for 45 goals all on a bad team that struggles to produce quality offense and you think and unproven prospect in Holtz is an overpay? Get real guy. Holtz has struggled in the NHL. He is a tweener A-B prospect at this point. We still want him for his chemistry he already has with Eklund. Devils have elite prospects in Nemec and L Hughes. I honestly don't even think Nemec is out of the question in a Meier trade. Grier is going to get a good return whether you like it or not.

so guy at 20 years old is a PPG in the AHL, and since he hasn’t been given more than a bottom six role in the NHL, you negate his value?! That’s laughable. Holtz is a stud, devils will not give him up

not a chance; definitely no other players of value. If anything you'd be taking back Andreas Johnsson

he’s unproven because the coaching staff gives him 10 minutes of ice time on the bottom six. Im not negating Timos value. But you’re not getting our top 3 prospects. If our other prospects who are extremely talented aren’t good enough for you, best of luck to you. We didn’t go through a ten year rebuild to get fleeced now.

It's not a fleecing if you are getting an elite goal scorer back. Wow. You are beyond convincing.

you said it yourself, what I offered was fair value before. I’m not giving up a guy we picked 7OA not two years ago and has shown he’s capable of being a 70-80 point guy.

NJ fans on here want Timo badly but don't think they need to give up anything good to get him. It's hilarious.

Holtz is slow/can't even get PT, hard pass on him. If dealing with NJ I'd want Nemec or Mercer.

And you won't get either of them because no one is going to offer close to the value of either of those two players

then you’ll be trading with somebody else! You will not get Hughes, Nemec, Mercer, Holtz! You know why? Cause we’ll just wait till the off-season and take Meier or Pasternak; whoever makes it to UFA!

Posted a similar trade to this on here recently, no issue with that. I think we would get something extra on top but we are in agreement on most of the deal/not worth debating imo.
