Detroit isn't trading their best player and captain for a couple of unproven prospects and 1st that is over a year away. Detroit quite easily but politely declines.

Now that he is in Arizona, I don't get to watch him play much but in Philly he was atrocious defensively. Philly has struggled lately but he was there for their last 3 trips to the playoffs as well.

Might receive Stammer treatment from Y but instead of TOR messing up it'll be a US team that shows Larkin playoff and career fruition

He’s have to spend much more than that for either of those guys and realistically only one would come bc they’d want an extension and couldn’t afford both past this season. You’d have to part with this years first and Morrow in this post if you’re being realistic about even one of those guys.

i heard they really covet the 2025 7th round pick. Supposedly 7th round is looking really deep in 2 years. This OP obviously missed the mark on what SJ is looking for in later round picks.

You are right it will be a US team that shows Larkin playoff and career fruition, and that team will be THE RED WINGS!! I'm not at all worried about Larkin leaving. There is a lot more going on that doesn't show up on a score sheet and you can't see it watching the game.

If they are retain, they may get both. And if they get really lucky, they get 2024 7th too.
