Still feeling that is an overpay, also zero chance Fitz trades Sharangovich mid-season (he just had a kid and Fitz is a big family guy).

Meant to do it for the off-season - just wanted to do a quick one while on my mind. We do have a surplus on O and D. If we were to keep Holtz and Mercer, and Bratt signs long-term, - I think Sharangovich would be the one out of the top 6. I was stuck between Walsh and Muk as far as defenseman goes. Meier would be great fit for this lineup.

I don’t think it’s an overpay but agree that’s an offseason move. Teams adding at the deadline usually don’t move guys like sharangovich

If they have cap space, rolling three lines plays better, particularly in playoffs. Third line is out there 15 /16 min a night, a strong line will present the opponent bench with real match up headaches ... Rango would be great on third line. He also gets some PK time.

In that scenario, Zetterlund drops from lineup or to 4th.

Based on the Fiala trade, Mukhamadullin plus a 1st seems to be about the right value for an off-season move. Faber is probably a safer selection than Muk, but also probably does not have the top-pair upside.

No reason Sharangovich and Boqvist should be added.
