Description
Jeannot if he’s more of a bottom 6 guy that can score than a top 6, Nashville maybe moves him for a guy who’s also scored 20 goals (twice) who plays bottom 6 but is more of a top 6 guy in ross Colton. Throw in Foote because of jeannot’s potential.

Bring in Jake evans with term on a good contract which is in line with what Tampa looks for

When did Colton have a second 20 goal season?

Regardless, no thanks from NSH.

That's fine wouldn't give Colton for JJeanot 1 for 1 Colton has more goals/assists and points per game than Jeanot plays lower in the lineup and is currently 2nd on TB to Cernak in hits. And you want more than He and Foote. Mind boggling!!

What potential does he have that's greater than Coltons. Colton has 3 minutes per game less while being more productive per game and playing lower in the lineup? Adding Foote is utterly foolish. Value wise Nashville adds a mid to late round pick minimum.

Maybe the Habs trade but the Nashville trade seems unnecessary for TB, if anything I think Tampa needs some younger cheap legs for the 4th line/13th/14th forward.

Why does not being interested in trading Jeannot mean I was asking for more? NSH fans like what we have in Jeannot. We've seen what he can do, and the bad puck luck and comically bad shooting % he's had this year is an unsustainable anomaly.

If TB fans like Colton, more power to them. I'd prefer to keep the younger, cheaper, bigger, stronger player. Colton's numbers would likely be half what they are this season, if he were playing on the poorly coached clown show NSH is right now too, and he's a significant downgrade in physicality compared to Jeannot.

I wouldn't mind taking a flyer on Foote though. There still might be a little untapped potential that could be a fit for the Preds there.

You are crazy or haven't watched Colton if you truly think Jeanot is that much more physical than Colton . Colton has also proven he plays well in the playoffs something Jeanot hasn't shown.

Jeannot has twice as many hits, blocked shots, can and will actually step up for teammates. He's bigger and stronger than Colton. I'm not saying Colton is soft, but they're in different classes.

Guess that happens when you never have the puck on your stick. Btw 134 isn't 2 times 78 obviously math isn't your strong point. Again I'll also take Colton and his 8 goals over Jeanot and his 7 points with more ice time in a top of the lineup roll. Certainly not adding Foote that would be cosmically foolish. So Hynes was good enough to get 24 and 17 out of Jeanot last year, but suddenly doesn't know how to coach?

Yeah, ya got me. Jeannot's 505 hits in 131 games isn't exactly twice Ross' 267 in 143. Where was this level of pedantry when the OP was claiming Ross has scored 20 goals twice?

Like I said previously, if you prefer Ross, that's great. I wasn't the one trying to trade for him, just voicing the opinion of myself and most Preds fans on here that there's not much interest in trading away Jeannot, regardless of what the team asking for him deems a fair price.

And yes, coaches have good and bad seasons like players do too. They lose the room, make questionable lineup decisions, shuffle the lines too much so players can't develop chemistry with each other (one of Jeannot's main issues this season), etc. But only a troll would pretend they didn't know that - you're not trying to troll now, are you? sarcasm
