Team Canada!!!
I think he is the only player who don’t post anything on social media about that. Anyway he can’t play this season.
The fact that anybody trade him before the first december say a lot.

Yeah keep telling that yourself buddy.

Try to find a player like Anderson and see what cost it gonna cost you to obtain him. The first two who jump on my mind is Anthony Mantha and Chris Kreider. Oh now that I think you can add tom Wilson, Greenway, Hyman are also guys in this play style also.

Just to make sure I don't say Anderson is better then all mention above but play the same play style and this a rare player archetypes in the league around 10 to 15 max.

I am going to assume you made a mistake and put the 1st, 2nd, and prospect on the wrong side.

Maybe we can leave this trade in the backburner and Ottawa can send Montreal Zaitsev for Montreal's 2023 1st.

The power forward premium only matters if the player is scoring. Anderson had 19 goals last year. You're comparing him to a 50 goal scorer in Kreider. That's absurd.

The reality is that there is a huge bottleneck when it comes to moving any big long contract right now. Cap space is king and it's a buyer's market. Look at what an exceptional two way forward with term in Bjorkstand went for. Basically nothing. There is no reality where Montreal gets a top level power forward return for Anderson.

I say and you clearly didn't read what I have write that I DONT SAY Anderson is better then the guys I mention BUT play a play style similar. They are all big, physical player with alot of speed for someone of this size. Couple with an ability to make space around team mate and have a dangerous shot.

Are they all able to do 50 goal season ? NO but at least they are around an average of 20 to 25 goal each.

Yes Kreider did 52 goal last season but he did it once only the other highest goal is 28. Other are like I say between the 20 to 25 goal range. To say someone is a x number goal scoring player he need to do it atleast three year.

Otherwise it would be like if I say Brendan Gallagher is automatically an goal scoring of 30 goal per years as he did it twice in row.
