EDM would need to clear more cap space

FINALLY a Habs ACGM that's pretty realistic.

There's way too many of them that trade Josh Anderson for a top prospect, a 1st, and a 2nd because, "gMs lIkE biG PlAyErS"

Leafs would need to float a contract back the other way. They'd probably want a low value contract like a McMann, Ellis or Gogolev. Habs would probably want something more substantial. I feel Joey Anderson would be a good compromise. He's asking for a chance in the NHL but isn't likely to get it in Toronto.

Not sure how reliable he is but Dany Dube linked the Oilers to Monahan and said the ask would be Bourgault.

I see EDM as the most likely spot for Edmundson considering their need for D and the fact that hes from there. As for Anderson, CGY and DAL seems like the most likely destination as first, they need him, and second, they have some bad contracts that they could trade back to make the money works.

In DAL, Id really like someone like Stankoven to be involved in any deal for Anderson. Maybe something like Gurianov and Faksa (both money wise) + Stankoven FOR Anderson?

And I cant really see Hughes trading Edmundson for less than a first considering his good contract and value that he brings on and off the ice for our young team. So maybe something like Foegele and a first (top 10 protect) 2023 for Edmundson. I wonder if theyd be interested in something like Holloway for Edmundson and a guy like Evans (as they need that bottom 6 RHC guy).

I certainly don't know why the Leafs need another LHD, especially one with term.

That josh Anderson trade is still pretty unrealistic

Its a lot better than the other ones I've seen. People here think Anderson is gonna get more than Chicago got for DeBrincat.

Anderson is big and fast but literally does nothing with that. He doesn't produce.
