He is their best PK d man. They are making due but he was playing his best hockey since they picked him up when he got hurt. Zboril/Stralman are massive downgrades defensively.

They have Craig Smith who they can’t get regular PT time for at wing. Sure don’t need more. Do need Forbort.

Can you just give one reason - it doesn’t even have to be a good one, why the bruins would ever entertain that? Seems like there’s just absolutely no benefit to them. And not just no benefit in reality, but i can’t even see an argument for any sort of positive for them here.

I assumed Forbort having 2 years left and not being a necessary player would be better off elsewhere. I didn’t value him as highly as apparently many of you do.
