His rank in the prospect system is just skyrocketing as both an asset or useable player in the future

Love it

He was drafted so low for a reason. For his sake and Leafs hoping his game transforms into NHL. Remember the Leafs drafted Adam Brooks a high scoring WHL. Or Ernie Gooden, leading goal scorer in the OHL.

The reason he fell was because his entire draft year was wiped out due to COVID, the OHL did not play any game. All teams had to go on was his 16 year old season where he put up 8 goals and 28 points in 49 games. That was good for 7th in the OHL in points per game for 16 year olds. This is the kind of swing in the late rounds that I like. If he had a full season an no COVID shutdown, he never makes he by the 2nd round.

No idea how he will translate to his game to the NHL, but he is not even in the same conversation as Adam Brooks. More than one scouting report I’ve read described Voit one of the most creative and skilled playmakers in his OHL, full stop. The biggest concern, strength. Adding more strength will help his skating become more powerful and explosive, improve his top speed and control the puck from defenders.

Will be interesting to see how they split the crease.

Cavallin has been lights out and McKay not as much. Wonder if they loan a goalie out to another team.

I would give him an ELC at some point. Him and Rifai have really impressed me. Tommy Miller has also been fun, but I doubt he is an impact NHL player

His first 12 games with the Marlies were pure magic. He made a fan of me then and I'm still one now. Can't help but feel like Moore is setting him up for failure

Honestly an underrated call up option later down the line. His playmaking could come in handy on a line with Holmberg and Jarnkrok

Nice finish by Abramov

If you told me Abramov is only 21 and was drafted in 2019, I would've called you a liar. It feels like he's been around forever. I used to be really high on the guy but my hype for him has dwindled. Hasn't impressed me at the AHL level

PP merchant Minten adds to his totals with a primary assist off his shot. Would love to see some more 5v5 scoring, curious to see how he holds up with no Stankoven or Bankier who are at the WJC.

I’m very thankful for Holmberg, I hate the Center depth we have

I feel hes a guy who is one of those gets called up and just figures it out. As sometimes guys dont have it for the AHL but adapt to the NHL. Holmberg's arguably a prime example. In the AHL man I had concerns then they called him up and it was magic

Still feel Abramov is like a throw in for any guy we trade for at the TDL
