Unless something drastic happens. Tavares won't be LTIR. He may actually be back for game 1. If he isn't he will be IR.

Overall these are similar to the lines the Leafs practiced with today. Except I think Kampf and Kerfoot were swapped.

Oops - I actually meant to have Kerfoot as 3rd line centre. I think if JT is back in the line-up, Robertson needs to be sent down....unfortunate, but true. Either that or they aim to keep both Malgin and Nicky, and trade out Kerfoot. I think they keep Holl for the moment....

I’ve liked Malgin and he should play with Willy 100%. I would have Robertson play 3LW with Willy and Malgin but Malgin is not an ideal C.

Robertson goes down to the AHL and you could take out Gaudette and put in ZAR. I think Toronto has high hopes for Gaudette and I’d like to see him try to play in the top six. If it doesn’t pan out well you can take him out and put in ZAR.

When Lili comes back I don’t know what happens. My best bet is that once he comes back the Leafs would trade Holl. He’s the worst out of the bunch easily.

Malgin, really we're doing this again ?

He isn't Nhl quality so if he makes the team than the Leafs are truly lacking enough depth to get past the 1st Rd in the playoffs again.

Most are missing that Dahlstrom will land on ltir out 6+ months adding another 750k.

They will either trade or waive Engvall and since it's the Leafs someone will likely claim him if they do. With Liligren ltir as well they would be compliaint for game 1. Might have tobkeep Malgin over Robertson to have any cap space at the deadline.

Any kerfoot trade would require them taking back salary.
