Well I can't help you there. Wouldn't be a fair assessment since I am slightly bias but neither Blais, Gauthier or Hajak comes with any strings attached. Meaning can be resigned or flipped for picks.

From a Kings fan, I think Blake would strongly consider it but it would cost us this year. Losing Lizotte would probably compromise our C depth and force us to sign Nate Thompson as our 4C. That makes me nervous about our playoff prospects with the rest of the Pacific improving. But I admit I like the idea of Kappo on a line with Byfield and Kaliyev long term. This was one of the better posts I’ve seen.

You said last year was bad and it was definitely his worst but he’s been bad the last 3 seasons. Making almost 5 million and isn’t good defensively either. I would happily trade him for a 7th.

Sharks aren’t taking on that Goodrow contract. 5 years at $3.6 mil is crazy. Rather keep labanc who should have a good year and only has two years on his contract. The other players involved aren’t interesting enough to take on that contract. Just a bunch of ahl players,

I also like him, I only want to move because of contract length. So if I move him because of that, of course I can accept someone refusing him because if that.

I know, but they can all be traded. Like I said, not necessarily great trades, huge gambles. I wouldn't want to trade Kakko (not really), he looks poised in pre-season camp.

A way out trade that would never happen and I don't necessarily advocate, but I like better is Beniers for Lafrenière straight up.
Both draftees have significance. Laffy is NYR's first ever #1 overall and Beniers is the first ever pick in Kraken history. Cancel out?

Kraken can handle Lafrenière's next contract, have Wright already drafted as a replacement, add young talent to wingers and a potential leader for years to come
