Description

After stripping the C I feel like it’s inevitable that he moves, reports are that they tried.

Boston gets their 2RW (finally) by swapping for two of their less than perfect attempts. I threw in Lysell because I want him but Jets could add either Stanley/Samberg or a 3/2 rounder if needed.

Jets get forward depth and team control with Coyle and Lysell, even if Coyle is a bit overpayed. The price you have to pay when you can’t attract free agents.

I’ll say Coyle agrees to waive because he sees Boston falling off a cliff after this year when Bergy/Krejci retire and Pasta could leave as well. He could also potentially get top 6 minutes in Winnipeg quite often

I don't see Boston trading Lysell for Wheelerand Coyle has a far worse contract that Wheeler, so if the Jets are retaining on Wheeler, they should not take back Coyle or any similar awful, long running contract.

That’s an easy no. Take out Lysell it’s still just a maybe. Doubtful but maybe.

Coyle is not leaving his home town team for Peg as long as he has an NTC anyway.

And BTW. Pasta is RW2. Think they are set there. 😉

It's Wheeler's two years remaining that makes him a really difficult trade. Wheeler at 6m next season isn't a cap any team wants. The trade posted is big overpay by the Bruins.

Take out lysell and smith and maybe? Wheeler is big time negative value, even with that retention.

Also, the bruins 2nd line right wing is pastrnak, so i don’t think this is a, “finally get,” situation. Wheeler would probably be a fourth liner in boston, maybe third.
