I do like Milano up there, would love to see Pelletier come in and steal a job but it was never going to be on Kadri's wing. A line of Pelletier - Backlund - Coleman could do wonders for his development. Similar to the old 3M line with Tkachuk - Backlund - Frolik

Pretty solid lineup, great offseason for the Flames all things considered.

Its pretty ridiculous that Milano had to go thr PTO route, who knows though, maybe he was offered a contract by some other teams and he declined, he probably hoping to have a good season and cash in next summer.

Yeah, pretty wild. Having watched him last year with the Ducks, when he was with Zegras and Terry they were dynamic.

My understanding, though I could be way off, is that he wasn't much of a team guy though, which is why he consistently found himself playing on the 4th line. Uber-talented though, and the Flames certainly have the coach to sort it out if that's the actual reason why he couldn't find a job.

That's the thing, Milano - Zegras - Terry.

Milano was a plug on that line, they in no way needed him, Terry and Zegras were at 0.90 ppg paces with Milano at 0.6-ish.

Milano can step up and play with good players, but in no way makes the team better on his own.

Poor Pelletier, getting stuck with Rooney and Lucic though. lol

Yeah, I mean, I don't think you're wrong at all...I guess the main issue is that, as a Ducks fan, it was usually either Milano or Derek Grant there, and Grant had 11 points in his last 12 games (and he ain't good...)

Dube >> Milano who I definitely hope we don't sign for $2mil/yr. Would have much preferred Victor Rask or Jake Virtanen tbh
