And you don't seem to know who Matt Roy is. It would take a 1st and a good prospect to get the Kings to accept a trade if they WANTED to move him. They don't, so any trade proposal will need to blow them out of the water.

The other trades, the value may or may not be there. But the Kings likely say no. As pointed out above, Moore is a UFA so why wouldn't a team just wait until he's can be had for free? And Arvy might be older than Gauthier, but the Kings have plenty of players vying for the bottom 6. In addition they aren't downgrading players for picks anymore. They're trying to contend. So that move makes no sense either.

Losing Matt Roy, Viktor Arvidsson, and Trevor Moore makes this team worse.

Matt Roy can play both sides and is one of the few great shut down defensemen we have, and the closest thing to him we traded to the Wild (Faber).

Trevor Moore led the team in points after being promoted to the 2nd line with Danault where he became a mainstay around mid-season last year.

Viktor Arvidsson has carved out a great role as well on the 2nd line, bounced back in scoring and is the only player who has been linemates with Fiala.

The Kings will be looking to move someone like Walker and get a top-4 LD (that could be Sanheim, but he'd be paired with Roy) and either reup Quick (as you have above) or find a suitable replacement. Other than that I don't think Connor Garland is a huge upgrade from Viktor Arvidsson.

Even if the Canes did trade Bear, this only complicated things further, since the Canes would still have Coghlan and Chatfield vying for 3RD this year, with Morrow and a couple of others potentially joining the mix next year. I would love Matt Roy on the Canes, but it doesn’t make sense to do so.

I disagree with the signings of Mikey Anderson and Trevor Moore here. Andersons deal brings him to UFA I believe, but I’d have to confirm. Even if we did get Sanheim, I also think the AAV for Anderson is low whether he’s on the 1st or 2nd defensive pairing. I’d like to see him sign a 6 year x 4 million AAV deal personally but we’ll have to wait and see how it shakes out next season. Also, I believe Moore will get something similar to Iafallos 4x4 deal if he has a similar season this year like he did last year. They also don’t trade him or Roy I believe strongly but nothing’s impossible

If Moore agrees to sign for $2.5M, there's absolutely no chance the Kings will trade him.
