Beyond stupid for Ottawa lmao. Anderson doesn't have a prayer of playing in Ottawa's top 6 when healthy, and his 5.5mil is absurd for a 3rd liner, and it's a virtual death sentence next summer when the Stützle deal kicks in and you need to sign Pinto, Zub and most importantly DeBrincat.

I agree totally but got routinely roasted by Habs fans for saying that his contract was terrible and he was breaking down.

Value is about right but Ottawa doesn't need Anderson. They already have Debrincat and Batherson for top 6 right shot wingers. Anderson in the bottom 6 would be a waste, Sens would be better off keeping Sokolov and put him there or trade for something they do need, like a defenseman.
