Myers 2 year term is the real killer with much thought being that the cap stays flat next season. Nobody wants to give away another Bjorkstrand type to fit in salary. He's almost impossible to move as Gms are risk averse to looking foolish a year from now.
Petry, a much better dmen, could only be moved for a player of similar term at a bit lesser cap hit. Teams cant move much at all. Arizona already has 22 players signed to NHL deals, Pegulas in Buffalo aint paying anything and will stick as close to the floor. The options are NILL *pun intended*
