Note that only Brian Elliott appears in 3 of those 4 categories, and there are some subtle indications that he played for a better team than Anthony Stolarz. In fact, none of the other goalies shown here played on a team that won fewer games than Anaheim last season.
This doesn’t include Antti Raanta and Pavel Francouz, whom I don’t consider backup goalies but rather 1b’s.
Man, props to you for putting this all together to really accomplish very little. Stolarz is average at best, regardless of whatever numbers he may have put up last year or any year for that matter.
Nonetheless, Wings vehemently pass.
