Foegle costs more to dump (he's got 2 years left) so more than a 4th, doubt Kessel leaves money on the table

It's OK. I think it's just as likely that pegula will pay each of us 5.5 million over the next two years.

Why does a decent bottom six forward cost anything to move? 2.75 seems fair for a third liner...

Maybe if you found a proper team and stopped dumping him on the Sabres, who's fan base on here has said multiple times they dont want nor need him, the perception would change

That fan base also said they won't trade Eichel..... just because a fan base may not want a player very likely never watched play a single game shouldn't call a cap dump or suggest negative value....

A. Kinda took extenuating circumstances to move Eichel, they didnt just wake up and trade him
B. Some do watch some dont. Just because you think hes good on Edmonton doesnt mean hes a fit in Buffalo. There are 0 winger spots he could jump into. The Sabres arent trading for someone to sit in the press box and eat hot dogs all game. The sabres have also been clear about not spending unnecessary cap and that they are not open for business

Your right a bottom dwelling team that hasn't sniffed the playoffs in over a decade wouldn't have use for a player that player a regular role on a team that made final four... makes sense gotcha

BOTH ARE 4TH LINERS. Girgensons is an Assistant captain and Hinostroza is the 13th forward. Proving my point

Sabres play no-touch hockey, that probably explains the lack of interest in a player like Foegele.

Well I've listed three players that aren't even questionable lesser players than foegele.... would rather foegele at 2.75 than Okposo at 6... I'm never going to say Buffalo is a good destination but it's laughable to suggest isn't a place or room for him given that roster.... easily slide into middle six role instantly.

So let me get this straight, you love the player but only seem to have the ability to dump him in Buffalo? Foegele literally makes zero sense for the Sabres this year unless we get paid to eat his contract.

The Sabres presently already have a Top 12 they are happy with.

Skinner-Thompson-Tuch
Olofsson-Cozens-Okposo
Mitts-Krebs-Quinn
Peterka-Girgensons-Asplund

Hinostroza
Bjork

We aren’t taking any of the youngsters out to begin the year.
Girgensons is Assistant Captain
Asplund is our best Defensive Forward

Hinostroza is solid depth and fits in well in case of injury or a slow start by a youngster.

Why would a team trade a 4th to upgrade their 14th Forward? Bribing us might work but even then I doubt Adams has any interest. If he were a shut down center, perhaps we’d have more interest but all he is to is is a more expensive Girgensons.

He had 26 pts last year….. that is far from a mid 6 player.

Between Boosh and Samuelsson and your loss of Kassian I would harbor a guess the Sabres May end up out-hitting Edmonton

They were last by a long, long way last season. They'll have to up their physicality by 25% just to catch the 31st place team.

And the Oilers added Kane and are likely replacing Russell with Niemelainen. The Sabres aren't catching them any time soon.
