Also Johnston can just be buried at no cost to the isles. Burying Martin would be cheaper than buying him out also but considering Ryan Reaves had value than Martin may too lmao

Idk about the isles winger depth, but signing two while getting rid of a serviceable one seems like it might be lacking, at least in the short term. Plus no need for a goalie with potential.Just a trade that doesn’t make sense for either team.

It’s not like the isles have any immediate need for UPL anyway. I like Skarek but it wouldn’t shock me if Lou keeps Varly for one more year or acquires another Russian tendy. He wants to keep Sorokin happy.

Right that’s what I mean. Sabres have no need for another middle six winger and the Isles are fine between the pipes. Doesn’t make sense
