I know we in a dull next 6 weeks til traverse city so these ideas are gonna be posted for fun but I don't see the current team changing at all unless we get a great offer for an upgrade. Feel like our forwards are set minus maybe shipping one more out, and we already added to the D corps and I feel like it really compliments all pairs strengths.

Werenski - Gudbranson : Offensive power with a good defensive Dman and Gudbranson fixes Zach's flaws on the Defensive end from what I have read.

Gavi - Boqvist : Great defensive Dman and great potential offensive dman in Adam, a perfect pair

Bean - Peeke: and again a offensive minded dman in Bean who maybe can make a jump this year to prove more and a good shot blocker and defensive dman in Peeke solidifying a decent bottom pair.

Really think we don't need to add anyone else and just see how this team gels for now.

Chinny and Blanks probs get moved to Cleveland (waivers exempt) and get called up to play if any injuries happen. Have some amazing depth IMO, best in years, with players like Danforth and Bemstrom who can come into the lineup and play anywhere in the bottom six and play very well. While players like Gus who can play middle 6 and play a ton of minutes very well and reliably.

Have a feeling Marchenko catches the league by surprise and goes off this season and starts the season in the top 6. Same with Tex proving himself on a contract year.

Should be a very fun season and it cant come soon enough.
