IMO, we would really regret giving up Bratt in any deal for any available forward. We have the prospects to make a deal without him. Severson would be tough to give up, but with Marino and prospects Nemec, Hughes, Mukhamadullin, Walsh, etc, we’d get over it.

How do Severson and Bratt compare to Krebs and Tuch if this is an Eichel trade comparable?

Not exactly like for like, mostly a reference point in terms of quality of players and picks it would take to get a deal done. If you must Tuch = Severson (Flames inheriting some risk taking player who’s UFA after this year) and Krebs = Bratt

Krebs = Bratt is a huge stretch. Could see an argument for Tuch being more value with more control but you never know with how RHD are treasured nowadays.

The types of players Calgary will likely want vs those Buffalo wanted will differ. Clearly Bratt is the more established, proven player. Again, a reference point.

Yeah, but Bratt is way more valuable than Krebs. If you wanted an Eichel comparable with the parameters of the rumored return Calgary wants something like: Sharangovich, Holtz, lottery protected 1st and a 2024 2nd rounder is a lot closer to that.
