Added Depth and Defensive PK upgrades

Mode - plafond salarial: Basique
Description
Penalty kill (which was terrible last year) has improved enormously with the addition Eriksson, Jeannot, Motte, Mikheyev, Lazar and Dakota.

Additionally powerplay is also a lot better because of a young/skilled PP2 (Jeannot can be swapped in).

The addition of new skilled players makes the Canucks a three line team where the third and fourth line can shut down the opponent and change the momentum with hits/fights.

Finally Myers/Schenn being replaced with Clifton and Pesce makes the Canucks much more defensively sound. As a result we are younger, stronger and less likely to cause turnovers or take costly penalties.

This team is guaranteed to make the playoffs and can easily contend for the cup.

I don’t think you understand. The Canucks can’t give enough quality to get Pesce out of Carolina. A cap dump and magic beans won’t even get the conversation started for Pesce. Making a the second a first doesn’t change anything.

RHD is the money position right now, and for someone like Pesce, who has an elite 2-way game, and is on an absolute steal of a deal at 4mil, the only way the Canes move Pesce is if they are starting to rebuild. Not to mention, Skjei-Pesce has been one of the best analytical pairings in the entire league and they function as a second top pairing. Canes will already get a King’s ransom for Pesce, but it will require an even bigger overpay than just that king’s ransom. Canes will not trade Pesce for spare parts.
