It is not a delusion when you realize that Matthews and Marner are just approaching their peak years in the NHL and you see Dubas now completing a masterpiece of now building an effective bottom 6 with great young prospects in the pipeline on there way to the Leafs.

I am able to have good talks with a lot of the community, I just have a strong distaste for the leafs based on the poor cap management being only rivaled by mccrimmon and fans who are completely illogical. Your bottom six may be one of the worst in the entire league. That fourth line is awful. I feel bad for you honestly that Dubas has made you actually look up to him. When’s the last time the Leafs were responsible with a first round pick? Trading one away to get rid of a bad contract they signed last year (Mrazek), trading a first round pick for 10 games of Nick Foligno, trading a first round pick to dump Marleau. You can’t seriously tell me that Dubas is a genius.

But Pacioretty had 19 goals in 40 games last year. That’s a 40 goal pace… patches isn’t washed, you just clearly lack hockey knowledge

Why would the Leafs want to resign Case when he wants $1,500,000 and was not much of a factor in the playoffs after comming off another concussion......He is one more concussion from being finished and should have just packed it in after this year.......Great player but there is a time to retire.
