Barrie would need to find a different home. Columbus are pretty set on offensive defensemen.

whyd u trade Barrie just to acquire subban. also it's hard to find a team with a use for Barrie, so he probably doesn't have much value.

Pk subban is not the defenseman that the oilers need, also you didn’t replace kane and that leaves a pretty big hole in our lineup.

Shouldn't try to replace Kane. He was a very lucky rental pick up trying to replace and fit with the cap is going to cause too large of a roster overhaul than the team needs. Focus should be trying to start next year with a slightly improved team over what started last year with and keep eyes open for an opportunity to present itself much like Kane was.

Ya it's really difficult to find a team looking for a right shot point producing d..... it's only been the most valued position in the league for as long as I can remember. Thats more than fair for Gibson but again the NTC comes into play. Guaranteed Edmonton is on it unless Gibson is gunning to leave which hes confirmed that he's happy in Anaheim. Same as Josh Anderson is happy in Montreal with his 8 team NTC. Oilers will have a hard time trading for any player with a NTC unless said player wants out like a Petry!
