Does he? I mean after OTT which is the next team that is really interested in him? NYI 13oa, BUF 16oa, LA 19oa? Once you get into the teens it'll be more about what the add is than the pick.

It just seems to me that OTT is bidding against themselves for Fiala after NJD got 2oa.

Power and Dahlin are the top LD (or will be). Dumba isn't a good match with either of them. They both need the stay at home/babysitter d-man.

BUF does need an upgrade at RD, but Dumba is the wrong fit for them.

He’s right, Dahlin has also played the right side being paired with Samuelsson. Buffalo also has Jokiharju and Fitzgerald who are right side defenders. Dumba is not a defensive partner, and his offensive game isn’t what it once was. Since his injury he is damaged goods and wouldn’t be worth trading for, even if he would actually not have Buffalo on his no trade list.

Holtz or Raty? That is the only prospects from the teams interested in Fiala. I don't think either of them are even remotely available though.

do be fair I just chose a team I thought needed a RHD. I think there could definitely be other suitors for Dumba but the return will probably be a depth forward + a 2nd rounder. I toyed with him to Dallas but I thought in-division would be unrealistic for a guy like Dumba.

Khovanov has been very dissapointing the QMJHL, I think a career reset of sorts could help him that's why I sent him with Fiala as a sweetner. I would love someone back with pick 7 but I'm just not sure if Fiala warrants that being a pending RFA and not having a deal yet. I like Crookshank on Ottawa and thought about working him into the trade.
