Haven't heard any rumors from any creditable sourse saying MTL has interest in barrie just on here where no one is creditable lol also there is 0 chance that MTL would trade Anderson for barrie 1Vs1 lol significant add on EDM part as Hughes is getting tons of calls on Anderson and he has already said it'll have to be an offer he can't refuse.

Oilers have to add. Numbers last year may have been similar but compare their last 3 years (which is all of Necas’ years) and you’ll see Necas has seriously out produced Pulj. Pulj is a nice player but Necas is already better with much more upside and he’s younger.

Honestly if Canes do move him (which I think is much less likely than ppl on here seem to based on trade activity) it’s for an upgrade with additional pieces coming from Canes. Not a lateral/downgrade move.

Canes will keep Necas instead of trading for PJ. PJ has better analytics, but he couldn’t even put up 40 points when he was flanking McDavid and Draisaitl. Necas was able to put up 40 points even though he got dropped to the 4th line half way through the year. Canes need scoring more than analytics right now.

Ottawa is not interested in trading away Joseph and a couple of picks, just for scraps.

No conversation to be had on Necas for Puljujarvi. As has been pointed out, Necas has a significantly better track record of production and is more versatile.

Puljujarvi also has arb rights, Necas does not. Significant advantage to Necas’ value there as well.
