You may be able to move a 1st for 2 early 2nds. But no team on the planet is giving you an early 2nd to move up 2 spots. The math doesn't work. Two 2nds for kerfoot might be a bit steep as well.

Kerfoot is 50 point forward with a $750k salary.

All Arizona is doing here is transferring it's picks to next season because his price will be high at the deadline, especially with 50% retained.
