Dont hate the Habs trade but i also dont love it. Would hope some gm would be dumb enough to take Armia without a contract coming back

Habs definitely shouldn’t be adding to that white trade.

White is so much better than Armia and the Habs have so many late round picks, id give some up to never see Armia play again

Oilers Pass. The key is to rid of cap to fill out parts of the roster that need work in a JP trade. Brown doesn't help that is just trade for a trade

They are both 4th line wingers at the moment because of their inconsistency, so White is actually less valuable because his contract is way worse.

Do you enjoy being wrong? White was only played there later in the season. he still have 10 pts in 24 games. Armia had 14 pts in 60 games.

And Drouin had 20pts in 34 games🙄

I guess he's worth way more than White with your bad logic...

Edmonton declines. The only reason they'd trade Puljujarvi is if they can't afford to re-sign him. They aren't taking on more cap in a trade,

This trade is bad value anyhow - Puljujarvi has more value that a 1-year rental of the small, soft Connor Brown who disappears in the playoffs.

Bad value? Maybe for Ottawa. Brown has hit 20 goals twice in his career and the last 3 years has played at a 50 point pace the last 3 years. The best Puljijarvi has paced was 45 this year and has never scored more then 15. And how much of that time was playing with McJesus?

Small and soft? Seriously? The guy broke his jaw in warm up after taking a puck to the face and still played the game and scored. He's also the main PK player on the 13th ranked PK.

Disappears in the playoffs? Right, because he has had so much opportunity to play in the playoffs the last 3 years for your analysis. Maybe take a look at the 16 points in 10 games he put up with Team Canada for the World Cup gold medal where he assisted on the OT goal in the gold medal game.

I wouldn't do the trade 1 for 1 let alone adding picks.

He is. Since you can retain half his salary for his final year. Youd be getting a 40-50 point guy at 2.75 million. That's worth at least a 2nd rounder

Good. Keep him. Edmonton isn't interested in a little guy who doesn't play physically. Puljujarvi has far more value going forward.
