Mode - plafond salarial: Basique

Description

I think I've seen this VAN trade on here before and it seemed to be judged as something they might accept. Put Miller at center because of the drastic improvement in the faceoff circle - but obviously him and Malkin can be switched

Pick any team and for a 3rd or 4th for Pettersson - doesn't have to be CHI

Coyotes may ask for a 4th to take McGinn - which I would do.

Hoping Nylander would sweeten the pot enough for DET to take Zucker for 1 year

That's fair. It might not be likely - but I definitely think it's possible. Wings get Nylander to take a somewhat bad contract for 1 year. Then let Zucker walk.

That's fair. I put up in the description that it could be any team for a 3rd or 4th. It's just to get Pettersson off the books. So the Pens team would still end up the same.

Correct me if I'm wrong but 23 is the maximum roster - not the minimum.

And if someone gets hurt, put them on LTIR and you can go over the cap.

Detroit will take Pettersson and Nylander off your hands but pass on Zucker.

That's unless you want to do a clean sweep with Pettersson + Nylander + Zucker + Kapanen for a 3rd (and McIsaac or Grewe if you want).

3 of those players you listed have value, so 1 year of zucker doesn’t cancel out - he is still a good player when healthy despite being a bit over payed, people on here act like he has and is actively spreading covid 20 or something

I don't think I can do Pettersson Nylander - because I need to pay someone to take Zucker and that limits my options. And I need Kapanen to get Miller as well. Maybe Pettersson, Zucker, Nylander for a 4th?

Thanks! I agree with that Zucker take by the way haha.

Yeah - the Marchment signing is definitely a risk. Not sure who else I would take with that 4.5mil though. I guess I could just pay him less - don't necessarily have to sign someone else. No doubt his stats look better because of that FLA offense. The thing I like though is he brings size and had 114 hits in 54 games - that's a little bonus.

That would essentially be getting Nylander for taking on Zucker. Zucker is an AHL-level player as far as Detroit is concerned so should cost a good bit to dump. If you said Pettersson + Nylander + Zucker for future considerations I'd be happy to accept, otherwise I'd have to think long and hard about it.
