Sandin is better than Hague

I admittedly am not super familiar with Sandin but my understanding is he is an offensive d man. Something the Ducks really do not need. He was what was offered on HF. Hague is a year older, 7 inches taller and like 50 lbs heavier which fits the Ducks needs more. Perfectly open to swapping Sandin out for something else, maybe a Second rounder?

Sandin is more offensive but he is more than capable defensively. Not a shut down guy but great at defending the rush and moving the puck. A 2nd and 3rd sounds right for Hague

Correct, he was a 5-7th dman in his rookie season. But I guess all 22 year old defensemen have already peaked so he probably won't be much more
