UFA signings probably aren't that far off. Blackwell likely gets more. That Kessel signing is likely him taking a Giordano type deal to play in Toronto again (not saying it's likely) but his open market is at least 4mil I would think. I don't see Campbell breaking the bank. He's essentially league average, maybe he gets a bit more but it's not going to be a massive deal. Again I'm kind of thinking that's a home town deal for Toronto.
I just think all 4 of the signings are all light, and with just 88k under the cap, any more reasonable offer puts you over.
Campbell as a number will get 3.5mil or more, this is his one chance for a payday, so its off by 500k
Blackwell is a meh 4th liner, but I think he gets more than lge minimum, maybe 900 k, so off by 150k
Kessel, maybe he does want to come back to TOR, but highly doubt he does it for just 900k. If it was about fit and winning, he would have wanted out of ARZ.
Helm is a quality 4th liner who can play 3 positions and is showing off he still has it in the playoffs, hes an easy 1.25mil as a UFA, off by 350k
So the signings by themselves dont work and the trades as outlined above, don;t really fit.
