Description
Notes:

In the Calgary deal: Kylington doesn't have to be in the deal, it could be just Mangiapane; as well as that we could get a RD in free agency
In the Kraken deal: I think it'll get some more picks if they retain salary
In the Washington deal: Adding in Hathaway would make Washington's cap problem better after adding on Varly
Nothing to say about the Boston deal

Caps do not have any interest in that deal whatsoever. Vanecek is worth more than varlamov and if you really want to help the caps out with their cap situation, you take Hagelin. Hathaway is well worth his cap hit.

We've come to the agreement that its a 3rd for Reilly. No need to change that now.

We need a right winger, Hagelin is a left winger

No need to retain on Bailey. Someone will take the full hit.

I think that it'll get more picks (which is the goal of that deal)

Someone will give the same draft capital without retention because no matter how much fans like to say he’s a negative asset, every legit source says otherwise.

And if it changed in either direction, it went the other way. Reilly had perhaps his two best hockey games of his pro career in the playoff.

Idk why the Isles would be that interested in any of Boston’s defenseman. On paper the Isles need to move a wing and add a lefty d man, but imo Reilly isn’t the answer to the Isles problems.

With the exception of his play in the offensive, defensive and neutral zone, I really like Mike Reilly.

I would be blown away if you had seen him play more than three games.

No idea, you'd have to ask your fellow Islander fans. They were the ones that started Reillu for a 3rd and Boston fans were happy to take that

Idk why they do a lot of things. Isles got a lot of fans after 2018 so I usually attribute the crazy ideas to those guys lol

Because the isles need a middle of the lineup D, the fact that he costs a 3rd and has all the attributes the isles need in a D right now is why they should trade for him.

Reilly is a great puck mover, hes pretty good at generating offense and hes not a liability defensively. That's why a lot of isles fans want to trade for him.

I’ve watched him since before Ottawa. He’s fine but he’s a third pair guy. I was just joking when I said I don’t like his play inside all 3 zones lol

There isn't a LD in free agency who's better than Mike Reilly, if you can name 1 id like to know
