Description
Notes:

In the Calgary deal: Kylington doesn't have to be in the deal, it could be just Mangiapane; as well as that we could get a RD in free agency
In the Kraken deal: I think it'll get some more picks if they retain salary
In the Washington deal: Adding in Hathaway would make Washington's cap problem better after adding on Varly
Nothing to say about the Boston deal

Reilly is a great puck mover, hes pretty good at generating offense and hes not a liability defensively. That's why a lot of isles fans want to trade for him.

I don’t think he is a good penalty killer, or at least Boston doesn’t use him that way.

He played 55 min on PK this season, in those minutes he had a solid impact.

Good one.

If they are gonna explore the trade market I’d probably look at higher end options. That’s all.

Yeah but Greene and Chara played a lot of PK minutes even if they were terrible players. I’d try and find a shut down guy to play with Dobby and use Salo on the 3rd pair.

Kulak , but hes probably staying in Edmonton. Ian Cole would be a decent choice but both aren't better than Reilly. The UFA crop for defenseman is terrible this season

That would have been a way better post in the first place. Given that this is all done via written word, it seems kind of ludicrous to just have us guessing what’s a joke and what’s meant to be taken literally.

Do bruins fans actually like him lol? I saw a couple dicey passes against Carolina but the canes have a lot of good forechecking wings so I’m trying not to be too harsh on him for that.

Chara was terrible on the pK, Greene was solid. Pelech, Pulock and Dobson , and Mayfield are all good on the PK. I don't think Dobson needs a shutdown D to play with, he would benefit from playing with a two way D. I agree with Salo on the 3rd pair.

Hes a solid player that became trade fodder when the bruins traded for lindholm.

That’s 3 righties and one lefty tho. And if salo plays his way past the 3rd pair I’m fine with that.

Btw no hard feelings man, but idk enough about those cards to comment on them. I’m a college student and can’t afford to look at the better sources. I’m nervous about relying on “free” information.

I would be more interested in trading for someone like Reilly if you were moving salary in the deal, but Boston can’t afford Bailey.

If you mean there r some elite offensive talents that don’t penalty kill I agree. Reilly is not an elite offensive talent tho.

I'm saying Josi is a great two way defenseman at even strength, but PK is different than defending at even strength . He's just not good at PK, takes too many risks and gives up too many shots.

Reilly isn't elite. He's a solid puck moving two way defenseman. He's a #4 caliber defenseman.

Idk If I was in management I would probably wait and c what RFA defenseman aren’t qualified and see if I find a guy who could be a good reclamation project. Cause I believe Reilly was a reclamation project by Ottawa.
