No. You'd be getting, with extension, a proven top-line near-PPG 40 goal guy, who is only entering his prime. A Laine trade would likely be something like the 1st and Holtz, possibly more. Even then, unless CBJ are absolutely blown away with the guys who would be available at #2, who wouldn't be there at #6, I'd feel they may ask for a 2023 1st instead.
Reuniting the Boqvist brothers is a fun story, but we really have no need form more B6 wingers. Zacha is a guy who hasn't shown enough consistency for me to comfortably sign him to the long-term extension he is about due.
Every indication is Laine is staying. He and the team have both said they want to make it happen.
