Lose, sorry. The leafs need depth scoring and better team defense (and especially better RHD, Brodie excluded) not swapping top 6 forwards or goaltending. Playoffs are about team defense and depth scoring (especially the first 2 rounds)

As good of a player as Nylander is, I don't think the Capitals would be interested in this deal. Wilson brings a lot to the Capitals that Nylander couldn't (physical play, PK, etc.)

Wilson is a unicorn. I think he has more value than nylander, and thats coming from a guy who thinks Wilson is the scum of the earth.

Yeah Wilson is a dirtbag but he's also a very good player. There's no way the Caps are trading him for "I won't go in the corner because I might get hit" Willie Nylander.

If you really feel like you need to trade Nylander for shake up purposes, I would target a higher ceiling player than Wilson

Yeah. I agree with this. Not the second part but the first. There isn’t much people that do what Wilson does. You have to pay for it. Nylander is a really good player but Wilson has more value

Trading Wilson would be a PR nightmare in DC, but for giggles, Caps counter with Wilson for Nylander (-$1.8M), 2nd, 2nd

Nylander may be more skilled but I would imagine every NHL GM would place a higher value on Wilson
