Literally every single team could have had Mrazek for nothing. You need to lose assets to shed that cap dump.

People are overvaluing Nylander. He’s streaky as hell and doesn’t defend or PK. That’s a lot of assets and cap space to invest on a player as one dimensional as him

And NJ has plenty of players with a similar profile. He really doesn't add anything to their mix. Wrong team for Nylander.

To be honest I don’t know if there’s a right team for Nylander that’s gonna meet their asking price. The best I can see them getting for him is the return the rangers got for Buchnevich last year

Tough spot here for Leafs. I agree with you, they will have a difficult time bringing back value that the fan base will be happy with. Maybe a new GM can get this done during the honeymoon period and blame it on Dubas.
