If Barzal were to ever get shopped is this enough? Obviously Barzal will probably not be on the move, but if there is some dispute with contract/something and he does, can buff grab him without giving up cozens?

I don't know, that's an awful lot the sabres are giving up. That's 9th overall (before lottery), plus olofsson who is criminally underrated on here, plus mittelstadt (who I don't love, but I won't deny that his offense is actually starting to show up), plus a very good goalie prospect, plus a second. That's probably more than the sabres got for eichel

So the Sabers would offer 4 firsts for a 60=70+ player that mainly tally's assists. Not Smart.

Don’t understand your logic, 4 first round picks is WAY too much, but 1 first, a player who would probably get traded for a first (Olofsson), a young center who is probably worth a first (Mittelstadt), and one of the best goalie prospects with a 2nd is laughable? gotta pick one

Olofsson is a power play specialist, the isles already have Wahlstrom . Mittelsadt is good put is not projected to be in the same league as Barzal. The 2022 First Round Pick is only four spots better than the isles pick. The isles need quality not quantity
