I'd say that would def get one of Crouse or Chychrun, for both we'd probs have to add another 1st rounder or swap out Bemstrom for Tex.

Maybe Crouse, I'll give you that. But that offer is 1st plus guys we don't want anymore. Roslovic+Bean+pick basically the new Murray+Milano+a pick. That's not getting Chychrun, period. And I'd be the first one to say I'd love to acquire Chychrun. His age and contract would fit in perfectly with the core we've got in place. But you gotta give up more than that to get him. Probably starts with Ceulemans and our first, plus maybe Chinakhov and one of the above guys. And I'd probably do that trade.

I'd agree we may need to add more but saying Jack isn't someone we want is a little too negative. Bean and Bemstrom def just clogging up the system rn but Jack has 2C potential and at minimum top 6 as a winger.

can i ask why oilers are giving you a 4th for stenlund? maybe a 7th or a middling prospect like ostap safin, tyler benson, or philip berglund

Nobody is saying Chychrun is gonna make this team immediately competitive, but he has term left, he's good and he's young. This team needs another bonafide defender and there's a logjam up front so guys need to be on the move. Whether that's in a Chychrun trade or something else remains to be determined, but Columbus absolutely needs to move some guys. Bemstrom seems like the odd man out most the time even and could use a change of scenery. Roslovic has only increased his value with his strong end to the year. I can only expect Arizona would want a young defender out of a trade for him. Only reason I added Crouse to the trade is because there's been rumors surrounding him and Columbus seems poised to improve their physicality after getting bullied by certain teams during the season. Like someone above mentioned Tex could be swapped out with Bemstrom as well if value isn't there.

no... we need a RHD and Murphy is way cheaper than Chychrun.
