Kreider won't waive for Winnipeg anyways and the Jets wouldn't want an older left shot winger as part of the return.

Not that Kreider would waive to go to Winnipeg but thats a terrible trade for the Jets.

First off, Kreider has a NMC, so it's his choice. 2nd, he is THE BEST net front presence is the NHL and best puck deflector in the business. 3rd, he is only 30 and signed for 5 more years at a very nice cap hit for his production, ignoring his 51 goals this season. Moving forward, with the team they now have, it would be reasonable to expect him to be a steady 30+ goal scorer for the rest of his contract if he stays healthy. 4th, he is a team leader and most likely the next captain of the team. Wanting to trade him is absolutely pennywise and pound foolish thinking.

That would be a wild offseason for Chevy... jettison the coach and his son.
