Betting on Ryan Ellis would be an insane thing to do. His age doesn't fit this team's long term outlook, his contract is awful and stands to cause problems in getting everyone signed in a few years, and he's got massive red flags from injuries.

Also not interested in Dvorak at all. Would just keep White instead

Too many players for fiala overall. Mn will take quality over quantity like that any day.

Sorry bud, this makes no sense in 21/22 roster....make it a 22/23 roster, with the appropriate salaries for the players. Gee Tierney is a UFA with zero trade value.

- Giroux as UFA is really the IDEAL move
- I would rather keep White than get Dvorak
- I don't mind paying that for Ellis but it's risky as he missed a full season. He's 31 y/o
- Not enough for Fiala. Gaudette and Tierney have absolutely zero value. Brown is good but isn't worth Fiala. Lodin + 3rd doesn't make up the difference
- Not sure Mete would want Montreal and that Montreal would want Mete

Lineup is fantastic though (Dvorak would play center as he's good on face-offs, and Ellis, Zub would be the Top-4 RHD. Brannstrom won't play RHD in Ottawa, they are against it)
