IMO, speaking as a Wild fan, I think CGY is 2nd best after COL, but then it’s the Blues, followed by Wild, Preds and even Dallas being pretty close.

Its looking reasonably likely that we meet in Rd 1. Which, will be a stressful one.

I mean, yeah we’re still good. People are totally overreacting to a special teams slump. Obviously have some very real and exploitable flaws, but this is not the team that got swept last year… not even close.

We still have the deepest front nine in the league. Just makes you wonder if we didn’t go 500 over the past 5/6 weeks if front office would have paid the premium for a chyckrun/lindholm. I still think at our best we can beat anyone but we haven’t shown we can consistently reach those levels as of late.

Kinda cool to see Blues mix and match 4th liners so defense and goalies see different guys each night. I mean you have the personnel to do it with Bozak coming back, Neighbours available, Brown, Torop, Walker, Kostin, Dak, Mac, be funny to see Scandella on the wing. The Blues have done well with the next man up mentality, which could be used in the playoffs too. Find 4-6 guys that are playing hot and switch them out when need be.
