Description
Fan will be upset but with the ask of Hugues and the precedent history of trade. I think that this would be what Hugues is asking for or at least in that sort of package that he would look for. Damn it feel good to be me.

Recents years shows good 3rd liner is somehow more valuable than top 6 players
But Giroux >>> Lehkonen value don’t get me wrong

Id rather pay a lesser price for Lehkonen vs Giroux at this point

Fill me in. When did Lehkonen become a top-six scorer worth A-Level prospects and high picks?

i guess it depends on the price but if its already a 1st + beaucage then im leaning towards giroux. im also expecting that giroux re-signs with his new team.

LA is not a Lekhonen suitor. They don't need any more bottom six forwards.

Colorado doesnt need scoring, they need role player that will provide great minutes in postseason and players that you can use in any situation and know he won’t cost you the game. Giroux would certainly be a flashy addition but i don’t think that it’s what Colorado need. Just like Tampa Bay they already have their star players, they just need the imponderables players that make you better even if it doesn’t show up every night on the scoresheet. Thats my opinion. Manson wasn’t a sexy move but he will provide toughness and when opponents will have to face him 7 time they might be less reluctant to go in the corner retrieving the puck later in the serie.

Beaucage offset slightly by the 3rd rd pick.
1st for Lek retained with RFA status (means it isnt really a rental).

But its clear COL needs to make a move regardless if the price is slightly higher now

When Tampa bay traded Two first round pick and a top prospect for marginal players like Coleman and Goodrow. And go read the description next time before commenting the answer was right in front of you that time.

Since Tampa just upped the game you can swap all of those picks to 1st's. Hagel is marginally better than Lehky offensively and Tampa just traded 2 1sts + 2 2nds for him. If Habs are going to trade Lehky it now costs a 1st + top prospect.

It very well be unfounded but they reported it and i use that information. So if you are pissed go complain on their twitter account.

Here's Friedman's most recent 32 thoughts. Show me where it says LA is interested in Lehkonen.

32 Thoughts: Trade deadline fallout coming fast and furious

Frank Seravalli (I don't know who Frank Serelli is) said that he knows of "3 teams" that are "begging" Montreal for Lehkonen, but he never named them. Rumour sites and fans inferred that one of those teams could be LA. It is not.

Stop putting words into reputable guys' mouths. They never said these things.

Fill me in. When did Lehkonen become a top-six scorer worth A-Level prospects and high picks?

that's because Tampa Bay has been paying premium to get cost-controlled players (Coleman, Goodrow and Hagel) and it has paid off. Hagel is the only one who can play on top 6.
Lehkonen is no top-6 forwards but I wouldn't be surprised if he could fetch something along the line of Goodrow (1st rd pick) or even Coleman (1st rd pick and Nolan Foote)

          like the idea. Thank you.

p.s. Houses in LA don't have basements. The closest equivalent out here would be "pool house."
