Even if the Leafs lose in the first round, Dubas will still have a job next year as GM of the Leafs. he did everything you could expect last year and the team didn't perform and he has done a good job replacing guys who left this year. I am sure he will add at the deadline. If the leafs lose in the first round, he will trade one of the big 4.

Funny that despite the Leafs latest stumbles, they are still still 5th in the NHL. Wow, when you read the comments on CF, you would think the Leafs have been a disaster. The big four? Well NMC Tavares and Matthews aren' being traded.....that leaves Nylander and Marner to be traded. That's a possibility

yes it would be Marner or Nylander. Both would be tough to swallow but they would have to make a move for sure. But ya Leafs actually have a very good team. Good defence as well. It is just clearly an area they can and need to improve upon to fight for a cup. Will be interesting to see what Dubas can manage at the TDL.
