Barron is not going anywhere, not to mention the value is incredibly lopsided. On those notes the Avs easily decline.

MTL fans still thinking they can swindle their little brothers from Quebec. If the Avs are willing to trade that package they’d dial up OTT and go the Zub Brown route both who are significantly better than the MTL overrated duo.

That would be significantly more since as you stated they both are significantly better but they both have term left and Ottawa would be unwilling to trade them.

Dude, that's still way too much, the purpose of a trade is to make a team better, that trade does not make the Avalanche much better but they are giving up an insane amount of futures.

Avs wouldn’t trade a 1st for those 2, in no way would try eg trade Barron with it. Just a gross over valuing of a bad dman and a 3rd line defensive winger who will not be with his cap hit
Next season bc he’s an rfa with arb rights

like it or not a 1st is a given. kaut has stalled and a 3rd doesnt have much value. you're over ratings the avs pieces here.

i think those 2 pieces could work really well for the avs.

Like it or not a first is given but not a top prospect and additional value,

kaut isnt a top prospect. hes a b prospect that has stalled in development and is stuck behind too many other players in the depth chart. he has no future here.
