Is Manson really worth that much? Bear and a lower round pick, sure, but that is a bit much. At that point Canes are better off keeping Bear.

i agree with you on the term but if hampus is the number 1 D then i think you have to offer him more than what fowler is making

Manson is a good 2nd pairing shut down D with some grit that can also kill penalty’s that would make the canes much harder to play against come playoffs. i think if the ducks have to eat 50% of his contract then a high round pick needs to come back their way
