Arizona declines. They are in a rebuild and will be for the next 2-3 years. They need/want blue chip prospects. JVR does nothing for them, Konecny is decent but he will be 1 year from UFA most likely by the time Arizona is ready to compete. There is also no good prospect in your package

I agree. So I have been all over with this. Giroux is driving the bus undoubtedly. Compher or Jost just have to be included to make it work for the cap, and the Avs can’t trade a dman like Murray because of depth issues.

That’s true for all we know…Giroux may not even want to leave. Or he goes to Colorado wins a cup and decides he wants to stay and win a few more.

Flyers need depth at RD so they hopefully push for him. Otherwise they’ll have to try to land a Pysyk, Rutta, or another cheap RHD option in free agency.
