Jets accept basically Joey and the first for copp and dermott and the second for demelo works if niemelä could fit in the deal in some fashion would be amazing too

I was thinking the exact same thing. We don't want Dermot and based on this roster they have enough capspace to keep him.

Swap him for Niemela and I'd say it's a deal. This allows Kovacevic to get 3rd pair minutes for the Jets, gives us a RW who is almost a point per game in the AHL to help the Moose and maybe can crack the NHL at some point but is 23 so the time would be now. Then we get a 1st and 2nd.

If the Jets are willing to move on from DeMelo, I think you'd have to think long and hard about this offer assuming the RD prospect is in there instead of Dermott.

You’d have to take Dermott out though. Jets really don’t need any lefties, especially for a rightie. Anderson also does nothing as well.
Jets would like the picks, but they’d probably want a better prospect instead of the two players currently there. So I can’t see that being a package that interests the Jets.

This is a ridiculously good deal for Winnipeg, Copp won't be resigning in the Peg and Demelo is basically Holl but paid more
