Don't think Ducks will move Manson. I think they'll take a legit run at a playoff spot. Wouldn't send a 1st to Habs for Chiarot or Allen. Allen isn't much of an upgrade over Mrazek. Too Much of an overpay for Chiarot when cheaper/better options are available. And why are you giving Liljegren to NYI? He doesn't need to be added to that deal for 2 over the hill vets. Couple mid round picks should suffice.

The Isles don’t want or have room for Holl, and should not be trading draft picks. Parise should be able to get a 3rd maybe even a 2nd with how well he has played and Chara around a 4th. Liljegren does not fit a need as the Isles RD is set for the next 5-8 years with Pulock and Dobson, and if Mayfield resigns cheap there is no room for him anyway.

Getting draft picks for Parise and Chara is better then giving up draft picks and getting players that do not fit a need.

Liljegren could be flipped for a far greater return. It’s just good value. Lose a 3rd? Big whoop. Swallow holl? Whatever.

Liljegren would probably return a 2nd right now, which the Isles could get for Parise without taking on Holl, and giving up a 3rd. That saves cap space which is critical for the Isles so they cap upgrade LD and a draft pick.

Parise is not getting a 2nd.

Parise is close to a 40 pt pace, kill penalties and forechecks very well. At worst he would get a 3rd, for a team looking for a vet presence in their bottom 6 that can bring offense and kill penalties he could very well get a 2nd.

Doesn't change that Holl is not wanted as he would be the Isles 7th D-Man at best, and potentially waived and Liljegren does not fill a need. TML can keep them and offer 2nd and 4th for Chara/ Parise and Isles would retain 50%.

Chara would also be a disaster with TML, he needs to go to a team with a more D-Zone focused system. Greene would be a better #7 for them as he skates better than Chara.

Suban is out for the year so I dont know how useful he would be for the leafs.
