If Debrusk could be signed for less then his QO that'd be a decent return for the Jets, Copp is a bit overrated.

i dont see why debrusk wouldnt sign for less than the QO if hes given the right situation. ive got a feeling he signs a 1 year prove it at like 2mish and if he doesnt prove it his earnings are shot anyways. his biggest want would to be to play 1st or 2nd line with a legit center.

Personal note, i think Debrusk biggest issue is hes always looking at his next deal. played great on his elc, played meh on his bridge, but he knew going into this year he needed to perform and the bruins arent setting him up for a big payday so he asked to be dealt. Hes a solid but streaky scorer.

Because Lauzon fits the need of a physical defenseman and he’s cheap. Dunn is just Grizz but bigger despite not playing that way.
